Ravelle-Sadé

In April 2018, Ravelle-Sadé started writing poetry as a form of catharsis. She decided to attend a poetry performance and was spontaneously approached by the organiser who asked if she wanted to perform on stage. Having never read them aloud, she decided that regrets were bigger than mistakes and went for it. After realising the potential impact of being honest about her struggles, she was inspired to share her poetry with the ethos that if any of her words can even touch one person then it is definitely worth while.

Since then, she has been interviewed on BBC Radio Nottingham, Notts TV, Kemet FM and performed at numerous NHS events. She has also performed at The University of Nottingham’s Mental Health Institute, had two headline sets as well as performing at multiple organisation’s launches and fundraisers.
