A few weeks ago, without prior warning and in a secret court, the fracking company IGas applied for and obtained a super injunction to cover 3 shale gas drilling sites. This injunction prevents the public from effectively protesting their fracking activities.

The injunction covers the sites of –

Misson Springs near Doncaster.

Tinker Lane near Blyth.

Ellesmere Port, Cheshire

Against all the odds a small group of local members of Frack Free Misson managed to put a full appeal together in the ridiculous time scale of less than one week.

Frack Free Notts invites you to a night of solidarity at Nottingham’s Sumac Centre to raise funds for legal costs towards a High Court appeal.

There will be musicians and poets, plus delicious food from 7pm.
